On Tuesday, August 18 an outdoor program will take place at Booker T. Washington National Monument. The event is "A Healthy Walk, Talk, & Art Expression Event: An Exercise in How Creating Art Can Calm Your Soul in Today’s Times"
Join Carilion Clinic’s Community Health & Outreach team starting with a meditation walk on the trails of Booker T Washington National Monument, followed by making an art project from the great outdoors! We will meet outside the Visitor’s Center at the start of the walk.
Participants should wear appropriate clothing & shoes suitable for walking. Sunscreen, hats, sunglasses, & water bottles are recommended. It is also recommended that you bring a blanket to sit on as we complete our art project.
All minors need to be accompanied by an adult.
Participants must wear a mask and we will follow social distancing guidelines.
