Description

This spring marks the 160th anniversary of the conclusion of the American Civil War. Join staff and volunteers a week from today on May 31st as they commemorate this event with living history, historic weapons demonstrations and historical discussions. Learn how to 'Load in Nine Times' with the infantry. Watch the blast of the cannons with the artillery. Learn the importance of the army laundresses! Meet the horses of the cavalry and watch demonstrations with saber and lance. There's something for everyone! Programs run from 10am to 3:30pm. Admission is free to the public.
