First State Bird Survey
The National Park Service strives to preserve natural resources so that all people may enjoy the peace and beauty of the natural world. This year long bird survey will help First State National Historical Park better understand its natural resources. Volunteers will identify and inventory birds in the Brandywine Valley with the help of a group leader. Prior training or certifications are not required, but the volunteer must be excited to learn about birds and to be outdoors.

This event is free to attend.
Location
Volunteers will meet at Ramsey Road parking lot at 8am and return between 11-12. Please note, starting May 1st, the bird surveys will be starting at 7:30am. Attendance at every bird survey event is not required.
