Join Anishinaabe historian Eric Hemenway for a stroll to find out the Anishinaabe connection to trees.
Trees have been, and continue to be, of the utmost importance to the Anishnaabek. From art to food to critical decision making, trees have shaped the lives of the Anishnaabek. This talk will look at how trees have contributed to the Anishnaabek and the need to protect them for future generations.
