Description
Mark your calendar. Join us for a rare night event at Kingsley Plantation. The luminary display at the tabby cabins and reading of the names of those enslaved at Fort George Island will be a solemn and impactful event. More details to come as planning continues.
Friday Night Luminary
6:00 PM- A “Cousins Conversation” featuring members of the Kingsley descendant community,
Dr. Johnnetta Cole, Emanuel Kingsley, and Peri Frances Betsch discussing their connections to the site.
6:45 PM- Procession to the cabins through the luminary where the names of those enslaved at Kingsley Plantation will be read.
