Bear Paw Battlefield, 16 miles South of Chinook, Montana along S-240/Cleveland Road. There are Nez Perce National Historic Trail signs along the way to assist in locating the site.

Description
The Bear Paw Commemoration is an annual event hosted by members of the Nez Perce Tribe, and supported by the National Park Service. The event is open to the general public, and is free to attend. Attendees are encouraged to bring a chair, water, and proper clothing for possible adverse weather conditions.
