9/30/19 to 10/4/19: Artists will be painting in Colorado National Monument and Surrounding Bureau of Land Management National Conservation Areas. -October 2nd, 8:30 am to 11:00 am; Saddlehorn Picnic Area -October 3rd, 8:30 am to 11:00 am, Devils Canyon in McInnis Canyons National Conservation Area -October 4th, 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Members and sponsor preview night and awards ceremony. Exhibit location is Carlson Vineyards Tasting Room, 545 Main Street, Grand Junction, CO. Free admission for all sponsors and members of the Colorado National Monument Association and Colorado Canyons Association. Non-member tickets $30 at the door. -October 5th, 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, Exhibition open to the public. September 30th to October 4th: Artists will be painting in Colorado National Monument and surrounding Bureau of Land Management National Conservation Areas.
The 2019 Monuments and Canyons Plein Air Invitational is almost here! This year the Colorado National Monument Association is partnering with the Colorado Canyons Association to expand the area which participating artists will be able to explore and paint. Now artists will be able to paint in multiple locations including Dominguez-Escalante canyons, McInnis Canyons and Rabbit Valley in addition to the Colorado National Monument! -October 2nd, 8:30 am to 11:00 am: Group paint out at Saddlehorn Picnic Area in Colorado National Monument. This is a great chance to meet the artists!
-October 3rd, 8:30 am to 11:00 am: Group paint out at Devils Canyon in the McInnis Canyons National Conservation Area. Another chance to meet the artists.
-October 4th, 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm: Members and sponsor preview night and awards ceremony. Exhibit location is Carlson Vineyards Tasting Room, 545 Main Street, Grand Junction, CO.
