The Opening Ceremony takes place at 10am. Camp Life programming is ongoing between 10am and 4pm. Musket firing demonstrations take place at 11am, 12pm, 1pm, 2pm, and 3pm.

Valley Forge 50/250 Celebration: Opening Ceremony

When: Friday, July 3, 2026 from 10am to 4pm

Where: Muhlenberg's Brigade

Kick off this special July 4th weekend at Valley Forge with opening remarks and living history demonstrations at Muhlenberg's Brigade in commemoration of the 50th Anniversary of Valley Forge National Historical Park and the 250th Anniversary of the Declaration of Independence.

The park will be extremely busy this day. Please plan accordingly. More event-specific trip-planning materials and transportation information will be available in late Spring 2026.
