Fall Campfire Program: The Goatman
Time: 6:30 p.m.
Presenter: Park Ranger Josh
Topic: The Goatman
For 70 years, a legend of a half-man, half goat creature lurking in the woods of Greenbelt have thrilled park visitors. Similar cryptids (mysterious creatures) stalk forests and fields across the country, but our local Goatman is the most infamous. Beware, for the bleat of a goat can sometimes be heard in the night, just beyond the flickering light of the campfire, and the creature has been known to haunt these talks. The Goatman lives.
