Stargazing Program and Star Party

Please join us as we celebrate the end of National Park Week with a stargazing program and star party! The evening will kick off with a program at the visitor center, and then you'll be invited to look through telescopes at planets, nebulae, galaxies, star clusters, and more. You are welcome to stay as long or as little as you'd like. The ranger program will go on regardless of weather. Telescope viewing is weather-dependent; please check in with the visitor center on the day of your visit for the current weather forecast or any additional details you'd like to know. Reservations are not required.

Schedule

Ranger program will begin at 8:00 pm. Sunset is at 7:55 pm; visitors will be able to look through telescopes when it gets dark and until our staff pack up the equipment.
