Summer Solstice Sunrise Program

Join park rangers to observe the alignment of the summer solstice sunrise at Casa Rinconada. Gates will open at 5:15 am and park rangers will direct traffic to the Casa Rinconada parking lot, and Pueblo Bonito parking lot if/when the Casa Rinconada parking lot fills up. Attendance is limited to the first 100 people on a first-come, first-served basis. The ranger will meet visitors at Casa Rinconada. Please follow instructions on where to stand to observe the alignment. A brief ranger talk will occur just before sunrise.

This event is free to attend.

Schedule

Gates will open at 5:15 am. Sunrise program at Casa Rinconada will begin just before sunrise. The sun rises at 5:55 am.
