Hike With a Ranger!

First State National Historical Park

  • Every 2 weeks at 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM from June 21, 2022 to September 29, 2022
  • Free
Beginning on June 30th, we will be hosting a "Hike with a Ranger" twice a month in the Brandywine Valley site of First State National Park. Come out and learn about the natural and cultural resources and unique history found within the Brandywine Valley!

The hikes will be anywhere from 1-4 miles. We recommend bringing proper footwear (such as tennis shoes or boots) as well as at least one liter of water. Depending on the conditions, bringing sunscreen, sunglasses, hats, insect repellent, and a rain coat are all good ideas as well. Check our social media platforms for a post the Monday before with details on where we will be meeting, and what the topic of the day will be.

Feel free to bring your family, friends, and pets as we explore and discuss what makes First State NHP special!
