Friday

10:00AM – Strike the Iron: Blacksmithing Demonstration

11:00AM – Manmade Thunder: Artillery Firing Demonstration

12:00 Noon – Saluting of the Flag (including a cannon salute)

1:00PM – Martial Music: Communication on the 19th century Army

2:00PM – Steadfast Springfields: Small Arms Firing Demonstration

3:00PM – Fly the Colors: See an original Garrison Flag from Fort Larned NHS’s Museum collection

4:30PM – Retreat Ceremony (lowering of the flag and cannon salute)

 

Saturday

3:00PM – Children's Storytime: Traveling trunk story written by David Clapsaddle about an 11-year-old boy trekking down the Santa Fe Trail.  Program presented by Alice Clapsaddle.
