Explore the night sky with park rangers who will orient you to the most interesting features in the sky, and help to connect you to the stars astronomical and cultural significance. Meet us at the Rainy Lake Visitor Center's parking lot (not the boat launch), you'll see us with red lights as the night gets darker. 

Bring if you'd like:

  • Your own chair or blanket to sit on
  • A red light (modern headlamps have this feature)
  • Extra layers in case it gets cold
  • Bug spray/long sleeves/a bug net if you have one!
