Healthy Hike Gentlemen's Swimming Hole

Join a Ranger at the Gentlemen's Swimming Hole trailhead for an informative and relaxing stroll through time.  Visit the site where the men of the Rugby Colony would gather to bathe in the Clear Fork River.  The hike is less than a mile round trip and moderately difficult.

Bring water, snacks, and wear comfortable hiking shoes.  Swimming in the Clear Fork River can be refreshing and enjoyable!  However, approved PFD's are highly encouraged.

If you wish to explore further, the Gentlemen's Swimming Hole loop is 2.2 miles and filled with Rugby's natural and cultural history and an important link to the heritage of the Cumberland Plateau and Big South Fork National River & Recreation Area.
