Did you know Fort Reno Park is the highest point in Washington, DC? For this reason, this location was chosen as a Civil War fort. Join a park ranger to learn more about the fort and why the former community Reno City that was condemned.
This program is a pop-up program including living history and on-site interpretation of Fort Reno, the Civil War Defenses of Washington and Civil War soldiers.
