Cannon Firing Demonstrations

Join our Colonial re-enactors to learn about the life at the Fort and watch the fort’s cannons fire. Fort tours complete with cannon firings will take place at 10:30, 11:30, 12:30, 1:30, 2:30, & 3:30.

Space on these tours is limited. Be sure to stop in the Fort Matanzas Visitor Center to collect your free boarding pass for the passenger ferry to the fort. Boarding passes are issued for the next available fort tour on a first come, first served basis and cannot be reserved in advance. Each tour will last about 45 minutes. Weather Permitting.
