Special Event
Please register for the event through volunteer.gov so that we can ensure that we have enough tools for everyone.
Join us for our first volunteer event in the Smith Bridge picnic area! Come volunteer on Monday, March 18th from 1:00pm to 3:00pm and help protect the future trees of the picnic area by installing tree tubes that will protect them from deer and other mammals. In addition, we will also be cutting back smaller vegetation in the area that the mower is unable to cut. This two-hour event will be the first of a series of volunteer events to help improve the Smith Bridge picnic area ahead of summer.
