Remembering Thomas Paine
Thomas Paine swirls around Revolutionary American history as an ever-present figure. But who was he? Take a moment to study a most tangible relic from Paine—his hair. View a verified strand of Paine's hair from the park's collection. Also take a moment to think about his contribution to the arguments that shaped the American drive for independence. The narrative associated with the exhibit will help guide the visitor through his many accomplishments.
