Special Event
Day one of the Fort Marion Symposium will take place at Washita Battlefield National Historic Site. Tribal Representatives and park staff will speak on the history of Cheyenne, Arapaho, Kiowa, Commanche and Caddo incarceration at Fort Marion and the effects of the attack on Black Kettle's camp along the Washita River.
