Children's Day at Peirce Mill
The Friends of Peirce Mill are hosting Children's Day at Peirce Mill.
Come down to Peirce Mill for a day full of free family fun! See the mill in action–and enjoy special tours of the mill just for kids. Try some traditional children’s games –or make your own toys up at the barn.
And at 11:00 am, we’ll celebrate Latino Conservation Week with a performance by Teatro La Bolsa, a local theater troupe. They’ll present “La gallina y la tortilla de maíz,” a playful re-telling of the classic Little Red Hen story in Spanish and English!

Free Shuttle Bus
In partnership with Van Ness Main Streets and Celebrate Van Ness, a shuttle bus will run between Connecticut Avenue and Peirce Barn. Stay tuned for more details!
