Nemo at Night - Ranger-led Night Hike
Get out and explore YOUR Obed Wild and Scenic River at night! Join our ranger for a ranger-led night hike on June 16th at 9 p.m. (ET) for a moderate hike of 2-miles total on the Emory River Gorge section of the Cumberland Trail to enjoy the nightscape of Nemo at night. The trail begins at the historic Nemo Bridge - the location of spectacular night sky photographs of the bridge set against a celestial backdrop of stars. The trail culminates at a sweeping overlook above the confluence of the Obed and Emory Rivers where hikers can enjoy the sounds of the rivers below as well as a spectacular array of stars above.
Participants should meet at the Nemo Picnic Area at 9:00 p.m. (ET) on June 16th. The picnic area is located on Catoosa Road just prior to crossing Nemo Bridge in Morgan County, Tennessee.
Please bring a headlamp or flashlight, and wear weather-appropriate clothing and sturdy footwear.

This event is free to attend.
Location
Meeting location for the hike will be the Nemo Picnic Area. The picnic area is located along Catoosa Road just prior to crossing Nemo Bridge in Morgan County, Tennessee.
