Kids to Parks Day
Join Gateway Arch National Park for Kids to Parks Day from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM and celebrate a national day of outdoor play! Located outside of the West Entrance in Luther Ely Smith Square. Participate in 3 different activity station.
Station 1: Junior Ranger table - participate in a special junior ranger booklet and scavenger hunt focusing on native trees and shrubs in the park. Get sworn in as a junior ranger once completed.
Station 2: Pioneer Games and Toys - learn about pioneer games and toys and try them out for yourself. Create a make and take craft of a pioneer toy.
Station 3: Indigenous games for children - learn about games indigenous children played thorughout history and how these prepared them for their roles in adulthood. Try your hand at some of the games for yourself!
