Description
After the liberation of Paris in August 1944, the Allies continued to liberate more of western Europe. At the beginning of the fall of 1944, however, the Allies had to slow down their pace. They entered into the Hurtgen Forest along the German border and the Germans put up a stiff defense. Come and discover how the Americans adopted to the change in weather and the challenges of fighting in the Hurtgen Forest.
