Description
Mission San Jose turns 300 years old on February 23, 2020. Commemorate San Jose's tricentennial with San Antonio Missions National Historical Park by riding the trails pn February 22. This is a 6 mile 2 and 1/2 hour ranger-led bike ride. Join us in taking a moment to remember stories of the historic people of San Antonio who walked these sites 300 years ago. Reflect on the legacy of these missions, and see the modern role that the missions play in our community and local cultures.
Meet the Park Ranger at Mission San José at 10 am. Our route begins at Mission San José, stops at Mission San Juan and other features, then ends back at Mission San José. The bike ride will run from 10 am - 2 pm. We will bike along the Mission Reach Hike & Bike Trail on paved and gravel surfaces.
• Helmets are required for all participants.
• This is a free public program.
• Bring your own bicycle and helmet to participate for free.
