Running a Revolutionary Army on Quills and Ink

Where: Historic Valley Forge Train Station platform, overlooking Washington's Headquarters

When: 10 AM to 4 PM on Saturday, May 3, 2025

Stationer Ben Bartgis will offer an informal living history program for visitors, with an emphasis on documents and letter writing as it relates to the Franco-American Alliance. Program includes a table display of originaland reproduction items related to colonial reading, writing, and education, with a quill pen letter writing activity station to compliment visitor experience at Washington’s Headquarters.
