Description

Confronted with a world gripped in war President Frinklin Delano Roosavelt hoped to carry on the legacy of his predacessor Woodrow Wilson. Wilson invisioned a world full of peace. A part of that peace included a Non-Govermental Organization. It is with that vision in mind that President FDR, with the assistance of the Woman’s Leauge for International Peace and Justice, helped lay the groundwork for what would eventially become the United Nations.
