Dayton Aviation Heritage National Historical Park and the Dunbar branch of the Association of African American Life and History (ASALH) invite you to celebrate Paul Laurence Dunbar’s 151st birthday at the Paul Laurence Dunbar House Visitor Center. Activites will include presentations and a discussion led by ASALH centered around the many exciting things that were happening the year that Paul Laurence Dunbar celebrated his 21st birthday, 1893. Tours will be provided of Dunbar’s historic home, and you’ll experience a singer and living historian depicting Matilda Dunbar, Paul’s mother. Enjoy refreshments and fun for the whole family.
