After Dark in the Park: Jeffrey Judd- Living on Lava
He was a geological technician for the USGS Hawaiian Volcano Observatory, a park ranger with the National Park Service, and a sought-after tour guide for viewing active volcanic eruptions. Join us for a special evening with former ranger Jeffrey Judd as he takes us through some spectacular and harrowing career highlights, from helicopter rescues to nearly losing his life during the eruption of Maunaulu. Part of Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park’s ongoing After Dark in the Park series of programs.
Program co-sponsored by Friends of Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park. For information, call (808) 985-6011. Your $2 donation helps to support park programs. Park entrance fees apply.
