Star Party
Please join Chaco Culture and the Albuquerque Astronomical Society for a star party at the visitor center! Visitors will look through telescopes starting a little after 8:00 pm at planets, nebulae, galaxies, star clusters, and more. You are welcome to stay as long or as little as you'd like. Telescope viewing is weather-dependent; please check in with the visitor center on the day of your visit for the current weather forecast or any additional details you'd like to know. Reservations are not required.

This event takes place two nights: Friday September 4 & Saturday September 5. Sunset is about 7:30 pm; visitors will be able to look through telescopes when it gets dark and until our volunteers pack up their equipment.
