Description
Join Park Rangers and volunteers on November 25th and 26th for interpretive programs! All programs will meet directly behind the visitor center. See the schedule below!
10:30am Ranger Walk (approximately one-hour):
Have you seen the small brown signs with white triangles around Cowpens National Battlefield? Have you heard about the 'Overmountain Men' and wondered how their story connects to this battlefield? Come join Ranger William from the Overmountain Victory National Historic Trail to learn about another layer of American Revolution history and how the cattle pasture at Cowpens was used for much more than a battlefield!
11:30am Ranger Talk (approximately 30 minutes):
Join a Park Ranger or volunteer at the benches located behind the visitor center. Discover the history of the Southern Campaign, Battle of Cowpens, and more!
1:30pm Ranger Walk (approximately one-hour):
Join Park Rangers or volunteers to walk the battlefield and learn about the Southern Campaign of the American Revolution, the Battle of Cowpens, and more!
2:30pm Ranger Talk (approximately 30 minutes):
