Wet Walk/Slough Slog (Shark Valley)

Trails crisscross the slough, a slow-moving river, that forms the basis of the Everglades. Join a ranger to immerse yourself in the “River of Grass.” Be prepared for a walk-through waist deep waters, muddy conditions, uneven terrain, and plenty of sawgrass. Pants, closed-toe shoes, and a hiking pole are required. All participants must be older than 12 years old.
