Description

Drop in to learn about the star at the center of solar system during this special two hour event, part of the Dark Skies Over Dinosaur celebration! Look safely at the sun through a solar telescope and participate in some fun sun-themed crafts at the Canyon Visitor Center near Dinosaur, CO. 

This event takes place outdoors during the day. Sunglasses, hats, sunscreen, and other forms of sun protection are strongly recommended. 

Please Note: Programs may be canceled due to adverse weather, for visitor or employee safety, or because of staffing shortages caused by emergencies such as fire or medical conditions.

Reservation or Registration: No

Park entrance fees are required, but there are no additional fees for this activity.
