East Pond Shoreline Rove

Walked the West Pond loop trail and looking for your next Jamaica Bay adventure? Join a ranger for a rove around the shoreline of the East Pond and learn to safely navigate what can be a difficult trek on the mudflats and how to be responsible nature observers while getting some close-up views of shorebirds and other wildlife.

Long sleeves, pants, and high muck boots are highly recommended. Depending on conditions, this can at times be a difficult walk, through mud, muck, and tall grasses and reeds.
