Join the American Philosophical Society Museum and Independence National Historical Park in celebrating Charles Willson Peale’s 283rd birthday! Learn more about this curious figure’s role in natural history. Visitors will be able to channel their inner naturalist through activities including drawing, identifying fossils, and more!

This is a free event from 11:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. Stop by for any amount of time throughout the program.
