Description
Join Lowell Observatory's Dr. Qicheng Zhang at the Capitol Reef National Park's visitor center theater for a presentation on, 'Anatomy of a Great Comet.'
Comets occasionally produce spectacular visual displays with ghostly tails stretching many degrees across the night sky, and one such bright comet may only be a weeks away.
The presentation is 45 minutes long with 15 minutes for questions and answers. All ages are welcome. The presentation is free with no reservation or registration required.
