Description

Let rangers introduce you to the night skies above Steinaker State Park! Night Sky programs may include telescope viewing (weather permitting), naked-eye constellation tours, or a full moon talk. Meet at Steinaker State Park: 4335 N Hwy 191, Vernal, UT 84078

To preserve everyone's darkness-adapted vision, please limit the use of flashlights and bright screens. We recommend wearing layers and bug spray.

Please Note: This event doesn't take place at Dinosaur National Monument, but at Steinaker State Park along Hwy 191, just north of the city of Vernal, UT. Programs may be canceled due to adverse weather, for visitor or employee safety, or because of staffing shortages caused by emergencies such as fire or medical conditions.
