Luana Nascimento will be sharing the art of Lei Humu Papa from 9am-2pm in the Hale between stops one and two on the self-guided walking tour. This beautiful lei-making method of sewing materials onto a backing was handed down to Luana through her ʻohana, and is truly a labor of aloha and deep connection.  Her passion for ʻāina, the land, as well as her respect for and awareness of our natural environment are all reflected in Luanaʻs 35 years of lei creations.
