French Market St. Nick Celebration

The St. Nick Celebration will return to the French Market District on Saturday, December 11, 2021 from 11:00am – 4:00pm. The free one-day kid-centric holiday event draws a diverse costumed crowd and will feature live music, kid’s activities the St. Nick Second Line including festive holiday characters and Santa, and the St. Nick Sweets Trail; a trick-or-treat style activity through the District.

Participating children are eligible to receive a free reusable tote bag the St. Nick Sweets Trail activity. Costumes recommended for kid’s and encouraged for all others! One bag per child, while supplies last. This event is free and open to the public.

This year’s festivities will take place in Dutch Alley and include:

• live music
• a petting zoo
• children’s arts & crafts with Krewe of Krampus, Krewe de Jeanne d’Arc, Adorn Me Antoinette, and the Button lady!
• St. Nick Sweets Trail (a trick–or–treat style activity) throughout the French Market District
• St. Nick Second Line
