Join Tule Springs Fossil Beds National Monument and Ice Age Fossils State Park for a hands-on Science and Poetry themed program!
8:30-9:00 AM Ranger-led Guided walk on the Megafauna Trail: This 0.3-mile trail has life-sized sculptures that reveal the lives and behaviors of the massive animals that once roamed Tule Springs.
9:00-10:30 AM Interactive stations: Art and science come together as you explore hands-on activities. Learn what it takes to "read the rocks" as a geologist and practice your paleontology skills with Ice Age fossil replicas. Get creative and explore the Ice Age with guided poetry and art activities!
