Take Me Fishing Day

It's time again for our annual Founders Day fishing event. 

Join Park Rangers from the National Park Service, Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management, US Fish and Wildlife staff, the Friends of the Blackstone, and volunteers for a free fishing program at the Kelly House, located at the Blackstone River State Park, on August 24, 2025 from 1-4 PM. Catch some fish, learn about the river, and earn a Junior Angler badge. 

All fishing gear, materials, and bait will be provided.

Please wear comfortable footwear and bring water. Bug spray and sunscreen are also highly suggested.
