Susan B. Anthony and Elizabeth Cady Stanton published a three-volume history of the woman suffrage movement, but the book didn't tell the whole story. Remarkable women preceded Stanton and Anthony in launching the Women’s Rights Movement but refused their permission to cite them by name in her seminal history of the movement. Learn who they were, what they did and when, and why they chose anonymity.
