Join us on Feb. 1 to start Black History Month with music, art, food, discussion, and community!

This event will feature local artists: Milton 510 Bowers, Toni Lacey-Toney, and Shawanda "Star Peaces" Dunn, and many more. THere will be live musical performances from Angelic and Ken G. The Keynote Speaker will be Mr. Evan Milligan, a lifelong grassroots organizer, and also theĀ also the named plaintiff in Allen v. Milligan - the U.S. Supreme Court case which ruled that the 2021 Alabama Congressional District Map violated the Voting Rights Act by diluting the votes of Black Alabamians, resulting in the redrawn map used in the 2024 election.
