Did you know that fossils have their own day to shine?
National Fossil Day is October 11th! This year’s poster highlights Mammoth Cave National Park. While Agate Fossil Beds doesn’t have any marine life fossils, we do have amazing mammal fossils to share with you.
Join us tomorrow in Agate Fossil Bed's visitor center for special events all day from 8am-4pm! Match actual fossils with their name tags; play a scavenger hunt for hidden mammal fossils around the visitor center; color mammal fossils; and create your own mammal fossil.
