Birding on the Beach

Rockaway beach is great for summer fun, but did you know that many birds, including endangered species, make it their home in the summer? Join NYC Parks and National Park Service rangers to explore the shoreline for birds like plovers, terns, and oystercatchers that are nesting right here for the summer as well as many shorebirds that are just starting to pass through on their migrations.
