Description
2-mile easy to moderate hike. Walk the historic coal mine town of Nuttallburg, seeing the best remaining example of industrial structures remaining in the gorge, including a coal conveyor and tipple. Hear stories of work and life in this once booming town as we explore the area. Wear hiking shoes; bring water.
Meet at Nuttalburg bottom parking area at the end of Keeneys Creek Road near Winona. NOTE: Keeneys Creek Road is a very narrow, single lane road; use caution.
