Celebrate the 200th Anniversary of Lafayette's Landing at Castle Garden

August 16th is the 200th Anniversary of Marquis de Lafayette's 1824 tour of America. He began his tour in New York City at Castle Clinton (then known as Castle Garden.) In celebration of this anniversary, Castle Clinton Rangers have planned a number of arts and crafts programs, sponsored by student interns from Mather High School, and a Meet and Greet with Lafayette himself. Come out and join us!

There will be two programs taking place. The first is are arts and crafts tables sponsored by Mather High School Students. That program will take place from 11 AM - 2 PM. The other is a "Meet and Greet" with Lafayette Interpreter Ben Goldman. That will take place from 11 AM - 1 PM.
