The Lake Yankton Outdoor Festival will held at the Training Dike at Lake Yankton and Homestead Day will be held at the Pierson Ranch Recreation Area.
Events at the Training Dike: Live Fish Tank, Kids Fishing Clinic, Birds of Prey Program, Glaciers: Movement of Time, MNRR Mobile Visitor Station, Fatal Vision Water Walk, Seat Belt Convincer, Search and Rescue Services, Ambulance and CPR Dummy's, Playing in the Water: River Safety, Exploring Watercrafts: Kayaks and Canoes, Disc Golf, Hover Ball Archery, and Mini Golf. **Free Events**
Events at Pierson Ranch: Duch Oven Demonstrations, Mining Sluice, Pioneer Crafts, Butter Making, Homemade Ice Cream, Bread Making, Pam Spray, Quilting, Mead Cultural Center Games, and Candle Making. **First 100 attendees at Pierson Ranch are admitted free of charge**
