Description
Join park rangers from Salinas Pueblo Missions National Monument for a viewing party of the rare blue supermoon! To kick off the evening from 7:30 pm to 8:00 pm, enjoy a guided mission and pueblo program. Learn about the blending of cultures and the way they shaped central New Mexico for generations. Then, enjoy a special presentation on what a blue moon is, participate in moon viewing through a telescope, check out the moon photography station, and experience this once in nine year occurrence at the park! Make sure to wear comfortable shoes, bring water, and your spirit of discovery to spend the evening with us!
