Long known as a poet who stayed close to home in Amherst, MA, Emily Dickinson actually had deep connections in Springfield as well. She was first published in The Springfield Republican, was a favorite friend of Samuel Bowles, and passed through Union Station to visit J.G. Holland and family in their Springfield home. Join local historian and longtime guide at the Emily Dickinson Museum Melissa M. Cybulski as she shares Emily's experiences in Springfield. 

Program takes place in museum theater.
